Glenn Goucher is the president and chief clearing officer at the Canadian Derivatives Clearing Corporation (CDCC). He has been with the Montreal Exchange since November 2001, and is the director for the Montreal Climate Exchange[1] and Candeal, an alternative trading system (ATS) for fixed income and money market products in Canada.[2]

Background

Goucher was previously the senior vice president of financial markets at the Montreal Exchange. Before that, he worked for a Canadian investment dealer as the director of equity derivative marketing and the manager of exchange-traded derivatives. He was also a portfolio manager for a Canadian pension fund. Goucher is a part-time lecturer on finance and business policy.

Education

Goucher is a chartered financial analyst (1997), and earned an MBA and a BSc Eng. from the University of New Brunswick.[3]
