H20.ai, founded in 2012 and based in Mountain View, Calif., is a firm focused on artificial intelligence and machine learning. Its open source platform is used by more than 18,000 organizations and 200,000 users globally, according to the firm. Its stated goal is to make artificial intelligence available to everyone.[1]

The firm counts a number of large companies and financial institutions as clients including: Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Franklin Templeton, MarketAxess, Capital One and Wells Fargo.[2]

It also has offices in New York and Prague.


History

In August 2019, the firm received a #72.5 million funding round from Goldman Sachs, China's Ping An Global Voyager Fund and others. With the funding round, H20.ai's total funding reached $147 million.[3]
