James Davies is a listed derivatives and OTC market executive who is currently the chief operating officer of the London Derivatives Exchange.
Formerly, he was the COO of Global Markets Exchange Group (GMEX), which was restructured and rebranded as the London Derivatives Exchange.. He has spent 15 years working in the industry, including working at Westminster Clearing, one of the first electronic locals’ houses in London.
He also played a major role in the development of Eccoware and Trayport, two of the first prominent ISVs. He spent three years running a product management team at eSpeed/BGC Partners, the then Cantor Fitzgerald subsidiary.
