James Proudlock is deputy chief executive for LME Clear, as of April 2017, reporting to the chief executive, Adrian Farnham. Proudlock will also be a member of the LME Clear Executive Committee. He was appointed to that role in December of 2016.
Before joining LME Clear, Proudlock worked at JP Morgan Securities for 10 years where he was a managing director and commodity product lead for futures and options and more recently markets execution. He previously held various senior global positions in London, Hong Kong, Singapore and New Zealand and has 30 years’ experience in commodities.
He attended the University of London, where he studied Chinese and Economics.
