Jamila Piracci is the vice president of over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives at the National Futures Association (NFA), a position created to oversee the regulation of swap dealers (SDs) and major swap participants (MSPs). She was hired in July 2011.
She is an expert in credit, equity, energy, commodity, interest rate, foreign exchange and currency derivative transactional work as well as template development and technical advice; structured credit products; and structured note programs.
Piracci previously worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
Piracci received her B.S. from Harvard-Radcliffe College at Harvard University. She received her MBA from the S.C. Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University and her JD from Cornell Law School. Piracci has written a number of articles and has spoken frequently on issues pertaining to OTC derivatives.
