Julie Bauer is senior vice president of government relations at the OCC. She is responsible for engaging with members of Congress regarding issues of importance to the derivatives industry. She assumed the role in September 2016.
Bauer began her career in government relations with the Chicago Board of Trade in 1990, where she worked for 17 years. She then worked for FINRA in government relations before forming her own lobbying frim, D.C. Policy Group, in 2013.
Bauer has a masters in American government from Georgetown University and a bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia.
