Kendal Vroman is senior managing director, commodity products, OTC services and information products at CME Group. He assumed the role in February 2010. Vroman is responsible for CME Group's energy, agricultural and metals commodities businesses, OTC services and information products business. 
Vroman was appointed to the board of directors of the Dubai Mercantile Exchange, of which the CME is majority shareholder, in 2013.
Vroman previously served as managing director and chief corporate development officer for CME Group starting in March 2008. He replaced John Davidson III, who left CME Group to become infrastructure risk chief for Citigroup. In that position he oversaw the company's corporate development team, with oversight of strategic planning, business development and information products management.
He also served as managing director, information and technology services for the exchange. He has led strategic planning efforts throughout his CME Group career and developed the company's first program management function. He also played a key leadership role in integration planning associated with the CME/CBOT merger in 2007, the CME/CBOT clearing agreement in 2003-2004 and the company's initial public offering in 2002.
Prior to joining the company in 2001, Vroman served as vice president, corporate operations/chief of staff to the chief executive officer for marchFIRST Inc., where he was responsible for executive-level project management, including integration of staff and operations in connection with the USWeb/CKS and Whittman-Hart merger. Vroman also served as principal for Whittman-Hart's collaborative technologies group and worked as a senior consultant for Andersen Consulting LLP's Americas information systems division.
Vroman has a bachelor's degree in applied computer science from Illinois State University and a master's of management degree, with emphasis in finance and marketing, from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
