Kimberly McGarry was senior vice president and chief financial officer at OCC from November 2014 to December 2016.. She joined OCC after serving as senior vice president and chief accounting officer at First Midwest Bank.  In her role, McGarry oversaw all Corporate Finance functions, including financial planning and analysis, capital management, liquidity planning, accounting operations, and strategic sourcing in addition to OCC's facilities management and vendor management programs.
In her role at First Midwest Bank, McGarry restructured and led the finance and accounting team and was responsible for internal and external financial reporting including preparation of quarterly and annual earnings releases and reports to the SEC and Federal Reserve Bank. Before that role, McGarry spent 14 years in public accounting as a senior manager in the assurance services practice of Ernst & Young LLP and a manager in the audit and business advisory services practice of Andersen LLP. She also has extensive experience in technical accounting matters and internal control programs.
McGarry is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and belongs to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is also a member of the Chicago Finance Exchange and has had extensive experience in technical accounting and internal control programs.
McGarry received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Miami of Ohio and an MBA in Finance and International Business from the University of Chicago.
