Mark B. Fisher is the founder and CEO of MBF Clearing Corp., a large futures commission merchant (FCM) in New York that caters to proprietary traders, hedge funds and financial institutions.[1][2] His floor trading acronym was "FSH."[3]

Fisher is also the managing member and portfolio manager for MBF Asset Management, LLC.

In August of 2010, Fisher was named to the board of directors of TruMarx Data Partners, a Web-based execution platform that allows power and natural gas market participants to create an individual private market for each of their bilateral OTC transactions.[4]


Fisher started in the futures industry at age 12 as a floor "runner" on the COMEX. He "moon-lighted" as a independent member of COMEX while completing his education.[5] While studying at Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business, Fisher developed the ACD trading system as part of his research. He has taught this trading system to over 4000 people.

In December of 2010, Fisher participated in a Commodity Futures Trading Commission CFTC roundtable to discuss "disruptive trading practices" and "spoofing."[6]


Fisher earned an masters of business administration in Finance and Accounting with honors (summa cum laude 1982) from The University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.[7]
