Brown published the programming code for the Oddball trading system in the December 2000 issue of Active Trader Magazine. Oddball is a mechanical trading program designed for trading the emini S&P index futures. The Oddball algorithmic trading signals are generated not by price movement, but from momentum of market breadth represented by Advance Issues data from the New York Stock Exchange.
Brown was one a partner and one of the developers of TraderWare, a platform intended to compete with Omega's Tradestation.
Brown was a licensed vendor for the Market Profile with the Chicago Board of Trade.
