Mark Brown is an independent consultant and trading system developer. He is the creator of Oddball Systems, a trading system whose underlying code he published in Active Trader Magazine.[1][2]

Background

Brown published the programming code for the Oddball trading system in the December 2000 issue of Active Trader Magazine. Oddball is a mechanical trading program designed for trading the emini S&P index futures. The Oddball algorithmic trading signals are generated not by price movement, but from momentum of market breadth represented by Advance Issues data from the New York Stock Exchange.[3][4]

Brown was one a partner and one of the developers of TraderWare, a platform intended to compete with Omega's Tradestation.

Brown was a licensed vendor for the Market Profile with the Chicago Board of Trade.[5]
