Michael Conti is senior vice president and chief legal officer of Rosenthal Collins Group (RCG). He joined the firm as associate general counsel in November 2010. He currently oversees all litigation matters for RCG.
Before joining RCG, Conti was a market regulation attorney for the CME Group. As a prosecutor for the CME Enforcement Group, Conti was responsible for conducting investigations involving trade practice violations, presenting evidence to disciplinary panels and negotiating settlements. Conti was also responsible for training new members of market regulation as well as new CME employees about the rules of exchanges. Conti managed the arbitration programs for all CME Group exchanges and acted as counsel to the arbitration committee panels sitting in Chicago. He was in private practice prior to joining the CME Group, with a focus in litigation, compliance and contract negotiation for various firms and individuals within the futures industry.
Conti holds a Juris Doctor from Northern Illinois University, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois.
