Michael Kraines is chief financial officer and chief commercial officer at Trading Technologies International, Inc. He was appointed to that role in January of 2017 and will be responsible for finance, planning, strategy and business development.
Before joining TT, Kraines spent 25 years as an investment banker in the financial technology sector. He joined TT from Sandler O’Neill + Partners, where he was a managing director and led the financial technology effort and advised on transactions in the market structure sector beginning in 2004. Previously he was a managing director in the financial institutions group with Wasserstein Perella & Co., starting in 1992, and prior to that he practiced as a venture capital attorney with Kirkland & Ellis LLP.
Kraines earned a B.A. with distinction from Cornell University, a J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School, and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School.
Kraines participated in MarketsWiki Education World of Opportunity in July of 2017 at Trading Technologies' offices.
