Heywood also serves on the LME User Committee, a group that represents the interest and views of the stakeholders in the exchange.
Heywood joined the LME in 2010 as a research assistant. She moved to become a press officer in 2011. In 2013 she was named head of media relations for the exchange company.
She holds a master in arts and a PhD in French studies from University College London at the University of London.
