Nina Mehta is a financial journalist and author.
Previously, she was a reporter with Bloomberg News. She joined Bloomberg on January 4, 2010, from Traders Magazine, where she was senior editor. At Bloomberg covered U.S. stock exchanges, trading and regulations, as well as high-frequency traders and dark pools.
Mehta was previously senior editor at Traders Magazine, a magazine geared toward the institutional trading industry. She wrote about institutional equities, options, exchanges, ECNs, dark liquidity, broker-dealers, market-making, market structure, regulatory issues and technology. 
Before that, she was managing editor at Derivatives Strategy.
Mehta received a BA in government from Wesleyan University and an MA in English from Columbia University in the City of New York.
