Peregrine (Peg) Broadbent was a Wall Street executive, most recently chief financial officer at Jefferies Group LLC, a diversified financial services company. He passed away from complications related to the coronavirus on March 29, 2020, at the age of 56. Broadbent was CFO at Jefferies for more than a dozen years. He was previously a managing director and vice president at Morgan Stanley, where he worked for 16 years.

According to a press release from Jefferies, Broadbent was survived by his wife, Haley, and five children. [1]

In a statement, Jefferies CEO Rich Handler and Brian Friedman, president of Jefferies, noted Broadbent helped build Jefferies from less than half its current size, navigating their global team "through hard times and good times." [2]
