Recognised Overseas Clearing House status (ROCH) is a status granted by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) to organizations that it believes are acceptable to provide clearing and settlement facilities in the UK.[1]

Recognition of the status enables a clearing house to increase its physical presence and marketing efforts in the UK. The ROCH status affords a clearing house equivalent insolvency protections to those afforded to a UK clearing house, and thereby supports the acceptance of UK firms as clearing members.[2]
