Richard Gorelick is a co-founder and CEO of
RGM Advisors, LLC. He has a legal and business background.    
Following the acquisition of RGM by the Chicago-based trading firm
DRW in September 2017, Richard Gorelick joined DRW.
He also serves as a associate member director of the
Futures Industry Association. Gorelick is a member of the  CFTC's Technology Advisory Committee.
Before taking his position at RGM, Gorelick was a chief strategy officer with Deja.com, Inc. He first began working with the company as a general counsel.
Before Deja.com, Gorelick was a
corporate attorney in for Coudert Brothers in New York.
Gorelick founded RGM with
Robbie Robinette and Mark Melton in 2001. Robinette was a software designer at Deja.com. Melton was a cycling friend of Robinette's. Together, their initials form the acronym for RGM.
Gorelick and fellow RGM Advisors executives rang the opening bell at the
New York Stock Exchange trading floor on May 3, 2010, three days before the May 6 Flash Crash.
