Rick Norwood is head of the advisor services unit for tradeMONSTER. In that capacity, he is the point of contact and client services for Registered Investment Advisors. Norwood works closely with independent advisors and their clients to cater to the needs of those RIAs who actively engage in investment selection for their clients, especially those that utilize options trading in their strategies.

Background

Norwood launched his career in 1993 at the Chicago Board Options Exchange. He was also a founding member of a market making firm. He has also served as a compliance examiner and led in exams and investigations of options trading while working at National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD).

Education

Norwood graduated with a BA from DePaul University of Chicago, and currently holds Series 3, 7, and 63 licenses.
