Rob Hocking serves as senior vice president, head of derivatives strategy for Cboe Global Markets. He was named to the post in December 2018 and oversees strategy for Cboe's proprietary products. He also serves as an advisor to the executive, business leads and product teams on new derivatives products.

He has also been a member/trading permit holder at the Cboe Options Exchange since 2001.[1]

Background

Before joining Cboe, Hocking served as global head of equity volatility trading at DRW Trading Group.

Earlier, he held positions at Goldman Sachs and Hull Trading, specializing in index derivatives trading.

He is also a co-owner of Franco Bicycles in Newbury Park, California.[2]

Education

He earned a bachelor's of science degree in finance from the University of Illinois.
