Scot E. Warren
Scot Warren is executive vice president and chief operating officer at the OCC, the world's largest derivatives clearing organization. He was promoted to that role from executive vice president and chief administrative officer in December 2018.
He became COO in September 2016, having previously been executive vice president, business and product development.
Warren joined the OCC in February of 2015.
Before joining OCC, Warren served as senior managing director — equity products and index services at CME Group. In that role, Mr. he managed CME's equity index futures business product line and also led CME's entry into index services via the acquisition of Dow Jones Indices and the subsequent formation of the S&P Dow Jones joint venture with McGraw-Hill Financial.
Previously, he was vice president, securities division at Goldman Sachs, where he served as chief financial officer for America's Trading, and prior to that he served as president of Hull Transaction Services. Warren also held senior positions at Chicago Corporation/ABN AMRO and Arthur Andersen.
He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and events and previously served on the board of directors of S&P Dow Jones Indexes, One Chicago and Illinois Swimming.
Warren received a bachelor of science in accounting from Pennsylvania State University and a master of science in Financial Markets and Trading from Illinois Institute of Technology Stuart School of Business.
