Dan Busby is senior vice president and head of operations at [[OCC]], the world's largest equity derivatives clearing organization.

He is responsible for OCC's day-to-day clearance and settlement functions and oversees the National Operations, Corporate Actions, Member Services, Collateral Services, and the Technical Certification Services business units.

== Background ==
He was previously first vice president of operations. Before that, Busby held the roles of vice president of member services and vice president of internet and investor services. He joined OCC in 1999 as director of internet and investor services.

He is a member of OCC's Operations Roundtable, and he represents OCC on the SIFMA Listed Options Committee.

== Education ==
Busby graduated with a B.S. from Fairfield University and a M.B.A. from Loyola University. He also completed the Securities Industry Association's Securities Industry Institute at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
