Stephen J. Boyle ("Steve") has been the chief financial officer at TD Ameritrade Holding Corporation since October 1, 2015 and has been its executive vice president since January 13, 2016. He also serves as a member of the company’s senior operating committee.[1]

Boyle is a member of the Berwick Academy Finance Committee and serves on the Vestry of St. Georges Episcopal Church. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and serves on numerous civic boards.

Background

Boyle was an executive vice president of finance and chief financial officer of TD Bank America at TD Bank, N.A. (The Toronto-Dominion Bank) from July 2015 to October 1, 2015.

Earlier, he served as the CFO of TD Banknorth Inc. starting April 28, 2003 and was named its executive vice president in 2004.[2] He remained in that role for the bank, which later became TD Bank, until joining TD Ameritrade in 2015.

Before joining Banknorth, Boyle served as the director of financial reporting for Barnett Banks, Inc. and served in a variety of accounting roles for Fleet Financial Group and Arthur Andersen & Co.

Education

Boyle holds a BA in Economics from Wake Forest University and an M.S. in Accounting from New York University Business School.
