StreamBase Systems is a firm that provides software for building systems that analyze and act on real-time streaming data for decision-making purposes. It is headquartered in Lexington, Massachusetts and has offices in New York, Washington D.C. and London.[1]

The firm's customers include Investment banks, hedge funds, and government agencies such as; PhaseCapital, BlueCrest, BNY ConvergEx and RBC Capital Markets.[2]

History

In June of 2009, StreamBase was chosen by CME Group to analyze real-time streaming data.[3]

StreamBase was named a 2010 Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum in December 2009. As a recipient of the Technology Pioneer award, StreamBase will attend the 2010 World Economic Forum meeting in Davos, Switzerland. [4]

In August 2010, Streambase founder Richard Tibbetts was recognized by Technology Review magazine as one of the world's top innovators under 35 for his achievements in event processing technology. [5]

Products and Services

StreamBase Systems provide software for Complex Event Processing. Their suite of products includes a platform to design real-time event processing applications, a low latency engine to process streaming data and high capacity data storage.
