Terence J. Duffy - Advantage Futures
Terrence ("Terry") J. Duffy is a derivatives trader, broker and executive. He currently serves as a senior vice president and founding partner and president of the professional trader group at Advantage Futures in Chicago.[1][2][3] BackgroundDuffy began his career with Merrill Lynch as a computer operator in 1979, and then worked at Kidder Peabody as a part of their cash/futures bond arbitrage. Following Kidder Peabody, Duffy became an independent floor broker in treasury bills at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. In 1982, he participated in the launch of the S&P Stock Index at the CME, actively trading until 1989. He then shifted to an independent trader of the Eurodollar pit. Duffy joined Fuji Futures in the summer of 2000, working in sales for professional traders on the CME. Duffy is a merit badge counselor, registered with the Pathway to Adventure Council of the Boy Scouts of America, and has led Advantage Futures efforts in the Trading Tech 300 merit badge workshop program.
