Thomas Krabbe is director of corporate finance at CME Group. He was named to the position in September 2008. Krabbe's responsibilities include support of CME Group's international partnerships and leading the company's global growth prioritization and execution processes. He also works with the finance, accounting and tax areas to ensure cross-departmental support for CME Group's international initiatives. He is based in Chicago and reports to Sam Coady, director of corporate finance.

Background

Previously, Krabbe assisted with the acquisition and integration of the Chicago Board of Trade and CME. He also worked on CME's partnership and equity investment with BM&FBOVESPA and played a leading role in establishing the company's partnership with the Korea Exchange and the long-term, exclusive license agreements with Dow Jones and NASDAQ OMX.[1]

Before joining CME Group, Krabbe held finance and business development positions at US Futures Exchange, Deutsche Boerse AG and Arthur Andersen.

Education

He earned both a bachelor's and master's degree in business administration from Westfalische Wilhelms-Universitat in Munster, Germany.
