Todd Furney is the chief risk officer for Cboe Global Markets, Inc. He was appointed to that position in 2017 following the company's acquisition of Bats Global Markets.[1]

He was previously vice president of systems security at CBOE, having been appointed to that position in February 2012 as a part of CBOE's corporate reorganization.[2]

Background

Furney was previously the director of InfoSec/DR for the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE). He began working for CBOE in 2001. Prior to that, Furney was a lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force from 1995 to 2000.
