Wiet Pot is co-CEO of IMC Group. He joined the firm in 2008 after spending 20 years in the investment banking world, mostly at Goldman Sachs.[1]

Background

Wiet Pot worked for Goldman Sachs for 17 years from 1986 to 2003, most recently as co-COO of the equities division worldwide. He has been a partner since 1994. Between 2003 and 2004 he was first advisor and then, briefly, a member of the executive board of Hagemeyer. Between 2003 and 2004 he was a member of the supervisory board of Kempen & Co and between 2004 and 2006 he was executive chairman of the board. [2]

Education

Pot studied Law at the University of Leiden and following his graduation in 1981 he earned an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau (France) in 1982.
