Robert L. "Buck" Haworth is technology executive, traders, CPA and former CME Board member who is the founder and chief financial officer of Born Technology, formerly Born Capital LLC, a Chicago-based company providing regulatory software for futures traders.
Haworth also serves as treasurer of the board of directors of the National Introducing Brokers Association and is president of the board of directors of A4YA, a non profit organization that provides financial education and training. He is also a member of NIBA's CTA Issue Committee.
While at Chicago Corporation, Haworth established the clearing membership and floor operation on the CME for this NYSE member firm. He served as controller of Ralph N. Peters & Co. managing the firm's back office for both futures and securities operations, including government and regulatory reporting. He served on the consulting and audit staff of Deloitte Touche LLC (then Touche Ross & Company) working with firms in the insurance, health care, and state and local government areas.
Haworth is a CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the Illinois CPA Society.
Haworth earned a BS in Actuarial Science and an MBA in Accounting from Drake University in Iowa.
Haworth participated in the MarketsWiki Education Open Outcry Traders History Project.
