Carlo Scevola is the founder and president of CS&P, and director of the hedge fund Cryptos Fund.

Carlo Scevola began his career in the financial services industry in 1999 with the founding of the proprietary trading firm CS&P, which began its investment activities on the IDEM Italian Derivatives Markets, shortly becoming one of the major liquidity providers of the FIB30 futures.

His activities in various financial markets expanded in the early 2000s. He has worked as a broker with Refco and Man Financial. He founded a brokerage company, Gallo Global Markets, which was acquired by an Indian investment group in 2004.

He founded the hedge fund Resolute Capital Growth Fund in 2005, which he continued to operate together with Laurence Rosenberg until 2008.

Scevola has been investing in e-currencies like e-gold since 1999, and started investing in Bitcoin in 2011. His interest in electronic currencies, cryptocurrencies and the blockchain led to the creation of the hedge fund Cryptos Fund in May 2017.

In 2009, he was permanently barred from the NFA after the NFA charged him with failing to cooperate in its inquiry of Scevola's operations. He was also charged with representing to a participant in Resolute Capital that Resolute Capital had lost all of its money due to a defaulting broker when, in fact, most of its losses appeared to have resulted from trading losses.[1]

Scevola holds a Series 3 FINRA license. He graduated from the University of Liverpool, with an MBA in Finance.
