Conrad Leslie
Occupation Deceased

R. Conrad Leslie was a well-known and highly regarded financial and agri-business professional for over 50 years. He spent the last decade of his career at ADM Investor Services. For many years he wrote a popular pre-market opening letter sharing his insights on the markets.[1]

Background

Some of Leslie's contributions to the agricultural markets were his monthly crop production estimate, which he generated more quickly than the USDA report, the assistance he provided to the Nixon White House with Russian wheat sales, and his numerous writings and calls on Congress that helped pass the 1975 bill that allowed Americans to own gold.

He also wrote three books, including Conrad Leslie's Guide for Successful Speculation, Stocks, Commodities, Gold.
