David Widerhorn is the co-founder and former chief executive officer of Neurensic, a startup software company catering to futures traders and brokers that was acquired by Trading Technologies on October 6, 2017.

Background

Widerhorn worked at the Chicago hedge fund firm Citadel and the proprietary trading firm TransMarket Group before founding his own consulting firm in 2009, which he later folded into Neurensic.[1]

Education

Widerhorn has an S.B. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science and an S.B. in Management Science / Finance from MIT's Sloan School of Management.
