Fraser Cowie is a London-based exchange traded derivatives executive. Most recently, he was the executive director for strategic alliances at London-based NYSE Liffe prior to NYSE Euronext's acquisition by InterContinentalExchange in 2013.
Cowie held a number of business development and sales positions with NYSE Liffe and its predecessors. Cowie's tenure with the exchange dates back to Liffe as an independent exchange. He started at Liffe in 1995 as director of technology services.
Cowie had also served as director of sales and marketing for Rolfe & Nolan from 1994 to 1995.
He also worked for Digital Equipment Corporation and NCR in sales positions in the 1990s.
Cowie holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne.
