Tom Bakas is a futures industry professional, currently doing consulting work. Previously, he was vice president of Hedgestreet, a NFA registered contract market offering trading in binary options. [1][2]
Background
Before HedgeStreet, Bakas was managing director for financial market development with the Chicago Board of Trade.[3]
Prior to the CBOT, he was in charge of U.S. Business Development Sales for Eurex US and a consultant for several information technology solutions companies.
He held various positions during the 1990s at Merrill Lynch & Co., both in the institutional futures business unit and the private client group. Early in his career, Mr. Bakas was the chief operations officer at Linnco Futures Group, Inc., and held positions as a regulatory auditor.
Education
Mr. Bakas holds a BS in Accountancy from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana.[4]
