Tim Wildenberg is CEO of KCG Neonet, a global agency brokerage firm and technology provider that was owned by a private equity consortium until it was sold to KCG Holdings in September 2016.[1] He joined Neonet as CEO in 2013 from Citi, where he served as managing director and head of European electronic trading.[2]

Background

In July of 1997, Wildenberg joined UBS and ran its direct execution business in Europe. [3] He stayed with UBS for 14 years before joining Citi in 2011, where he became head of electronic trading in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Before joining UBS, Wildenberg worked for BZW Securities as a dealer on the floor of the London Stock Exchange for W. Greenwell and Co. Up until his departure from UBS, Wildenberg was one of the founding directors of the messaging standard operator FIX Protocol. He was also a member of the board of Chi-X Europe, a pan-European multilateral trading facility. [4]
