The late William Francis Tueting was a lawyer, Chicago exchange executive, adjunct professor and naval officer. He was a lawyer for over 50 years, including serving as the general counsel of the Chicago Board of Trade. He was a partner with Chapman and Cutler LLP at the time of his death.
Tueting served as a naval officer during the Korean War.
For over 50 years Tueting practiced law focusing on securities, derivatives and commodities. He represented securities and commodity brokers, investment advisers, hedge funds and banks.
Tueting attended Columbia University for and undergraduate degree and also received a law degree from the school
