Women in Derivatives (WIND) is a nonprofit organization that was started in 2007. Its mission is to educate, guide, mentor and sponsor the professional development of girls and women in the financial services industry, particularly in the area of derivatives. Its programs are free. The organization invites and encourages men to participate in programs as well.[1]

Its services include:

  • One-On-One Education and Mentoring
  • Educational Events
  • Paid Internship Program
  • Providing Scholarships and Support to Young Women Interested in Technology, Math, Science and Finance

While currently focused on serving women in New York, WIND is also expanding its educational opportunities and programs to Boston, Washington DC, Los Angeles and London and expects future growth around the globe.
