Adenza is a financial technology company that is the result of the July 2021 merger of Calypso Technology and AxiomSL. Adenza, the company's name, is a combination of the words "add" and "cadenza." "Add" embodies the mathematical and analytical skills strongly associated with both Calypso and AxiomSL.[1]

Calypso provides market participants with end-to-end treasury, risk, and collateral management workflows, and AxiomSL supports financial institutions with regulatory and compliance software.[2] Adenza provides software to help manage trading, risk, and post-trade processing in markets such as currencies, fixed income and derivatives. Its technology also streamlines the process of reporting data to regulators, which has become increasingly time consuming for banks because of the Dodd-Frank Act and other rules imposed after the 2008 financial crisis.[3]

On June 12, 2023 Nasdaq announced it had agreed to acquire Adenza from Thoma Bravo, a software investment firm, for $10.5 billion in cash and shares of common stock.[4]
