Alice P. White is a public director with the Options Clearing Corporation (OCC), a position she was appointed to on June 26, 2012.[1] She serves on the OCC board's audit and risk committees and chairs the governance and nominating committee.[2] She also is a former public director with the Futures Industry Association (FIA).[3]

White is an economist who primarily deals with financial market regulatory policy with an emphasis on derivative instruments.

She has more than 31 years of experience working at the board of governors of the Federal Reserve System, where she served as senior associate director. While at the Fed, White represented the board on interagency and international groups subjects such as the financial crisis, the regulation of OTC derivatives, and the development of international standards for central counterparties and securities settlement systems. White received a B.A. in mathematics and economics from Vanderbilt University and a Ph.D. in economics from Yale University.
