Andrew Brenner
Andrew Brenner is chief strategy officer at Lightspeed Financial, now Professional Trading Solutions, Inc. He is also a director with Potamus Trading LLC. Brenner is responsible for managing special projects and reports to Farid Naib, the CEO.[1] He was previously a senior advisor at Apex Clearing. Brenner has spent more than 30 years in the securities industry. Background[edit]Before Apex, Brenner was the president of U.S. operations of Belzberg Technologies subsidiary, Electronic Brokerage Systems, a provider of technology-based equity and options trading services.[2] He was previously the managing director and head of the ISE Stock Exchange, where he was responsible for developing a new state of the art exchange which was then acquired by Direct Edge ECN. Before becoming head of the ISE Stock Exchange, he was senior vice president and manager of portfolio trading and analytics for Fidelity Investments. Before that he was managing director of Sales at Access Securities. He also has held senior positions in derivatives and program trading at Credit Suisse First Boston, Morgan Stanley and Drexel Burnham Lambert.
