Andrew Howell is a business development executive with IEX Group Inc., working from San Francisco, CA. Previously, he was vice president of sales at BIDS Trading. He was responsible for BIDS Trading’s West Coast sales effort. He joined BIDS in that capacity in August 2010.[1] Howell has almost 25 years experience in securities trading and brokerage. He holds FINRA Series 7, 24, and 63 licenses. Background[edit]Before joining BIDS Trading as vice president of sales, Howell served as vice president of sales, electronic brokerage services, at Fidelity Capital Markets. As such, he was responsible for growing the user base of Fidelity Capital Market’s electronic platform throughout the Midwest and Western regions. Before Fidelity Capital Markets, Howell served as managing director of sales at Pipeline Trading Systems, LLC. Howell was responsible for establishing Pipeline’s San Francisco, CA office and developing their West Coast client base. Howell directed a team responsible for sales, implementation, training, and support. Before his career in brokerage sales, Howell was an options market maker on the Chicago Board Options Exchange and the Pacific Stock Exchange.
