Benjamin Jackson
Ben Jackson is an exchange executive who serves as president of the Intercontinental Exchange. He was appointed to that role in November 2017 after having been ICE's chief commercial officer. As chief commercial officer, Jackson was responsible for the entirety of the group’s M&A strategy. He took over that role on February 1, 2016.[1] He is the outgoing president of ICE Futures US.[2][3] and president of NYSE Technologies. He also serves on the Commodity Futures Trading Commission Energy and Environmental Markets Advisory Committee.[4] Background[edit]Jackson was promoted to the position of president and COO on June 4, 2012, after previously serving as COO of ICE Futures U.S.[5] Education[edit]Jackson received a B.S. in Economics from John Carroll University and later went on to get a degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
