Bill Ulivieri is an American investment and wealth management advisor.[1] He is an outspoken proponent of cryptocurrency, particularly as a critic of those promoting the establishment of a compliant bitcoin ETF.[2]

Background[edit]

Ulivieri began trading equity and index options, as well as corn and soybean futures, at Cboe in 1982. During that time, he served as a lead market maker and served on numerous committees within the organization.

He began working with the Equitec Group in 1994 until 2012, serving in numerous roles including risk manager, Rule 15c3-5 portfolio manager, digital trading platform design advisor, and Wiki editor. In 2005, Ulivieri joined Cenacle Capital Management LLC.

Ulivieri started Mining Rig Solutions, LLC, a bitcoin mining company, in March 2017. He has given numerous talks on the subject of cryptocurrency, and has also appeared in numerous talk shows and podcasts to discuss the subject.[3][4]

Education[edit]

Ulivieri holds an associate's degree in electronic occupations from Wright Junior College in Chicago, IL, and a degree in liberal arts from DePaul University.[5] He also received his Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst™ designation in 2006 from FI360, the Center for Fiduciary Studies.[6]
