Chris Walsh
Chris Walsh is the chief operating officer at AcadiaSoft Inc., an independent provider of margin automation for counterparties in the OTC derivatives market. He was appointed in April 2012 and manages day-to-day business operations. Background[edit]Walsh began in financial messaging in the 1990s when he worked for Thomson Financial's Electronic Settlements Group. He held several management positions there and established its suite of post-trade messaging services. Walsh helped form the post-trade utility Omgeo, LLC, and founded Radius Partners, a financial messaging software provider. Radius Partners was later bought by Fundtech Corporation. In 2007, Walsh joined NYFIX, Inc. as the global head of order management and strategy. NYSE Euronext bought NYFIX in 2009 and Walsh became the senior vice president of the technologies division there.[1][2] Education[edit]
