Christopher Fix
Christopher Fix is managing director and head of Asia Pacific for the CME Group. He is based in Singapore and is responsible for leading CME Group's efforts to develop benchmark products and services to meet the needs of its customer base in the region. He joined CME Group on June 3, 2015 and reports to London-based William Knottenbelt, senior managing director and head of International.[1] At the same time he joined CME Group, Fix was also appointed to the board of Dubai Mercantile Exchange (DME) and as chairman of DME Asia Pte Ltd. He was previously chief executive officer of the Dubai Mercantile Exchange starting in August 2012, where he replaced Thomas Leaver.[2] Background[edit]Fix was previously the head of marketing for Asia/Pacific at BNP Paribas Commodity Futures, a position he held for three years. [3] Fix was also the head of marketing of commodity futures Asia at BNP Paribas from February 1992 to June 2012. From 1992 to 1995, Fix served as a credit admin for Paribas New York. Fix is fluent in French and proficient in Mandarin and conversational Russian.
