Claudia Downing is a vice president in operations at Goldman, Sachs & Co., managing its Americas Tax Operations business. She sits on several Goldman Sachs steering committees, including the Operations Women’s Network and Operations Client Experience Committee. She is also a member of the board of Women in Derivatives.[1]
Background[edit]
In previous roles, Downing managed documentation teams across credit and equity derivative operations and worked with the industry to coordinate Federal Reserve Bank of New York Commitment Letters setting industry targets on derivatives confirmations and clearing. She has frequently lectured at ISDA seminars on derivatives documentation and chaired industry working groups on the same topic. Before joining Goldman Sachs, she worked in credit derivative operations at JPMorgan Chase Bank, NA.
