Contango Markets is a specialist derivatives consultancy founded in 1999 by Clive Furness. The company provides clients in the global derivatives marketplace with the knowledge to enter areas of the derivatives markets that they are not currently in or wish to expand into.[1] Clients include exchanges, technology companies, banks, trading associations, corporations and brokers.

In March of 2013, Contango Markets announced it was launching a new unit, 'Contango Operations', to help address many pre- and post-trade issues affecting market participants as a result of regulatory changes in the financial markets. [2]
