Dan Carter is a London-based technology executive who was appointed as the CEO of KRM22 in March 2024. He was named to the position in March of 2024, replacing Stephen Casner as CEO.[1][2][3]

Career[edit]

KRM22 (2018-Present)[edit]

Carter grew up in Cornwall, in the U.K.

At KRM22, Carter joined as a business development manager in June 2018. He quickly ascended through the ranks, becoming head of customer services in April 2021, and then chief services officer in February 2022. His rapid progression culminated in his appointment as chief executive officer in March 2024.

CoInvestor[edit]

During his tenure at CoInvestor from June 2016 to June 2018, Carter served as head of product and business operations. In this role, he led product development and implemented business operations as part of the management team. He was instrumental in implementing new technology setups, creating processes for product roadmaps, and delivering white label offerings. Carter also played a key role in integrating the CoInvestor platform with various third-party applications and assisted in migrating a key industry fund manager's entire business onto their new portal.

ION Trading[edit]

At ION Trading, from September 2013 to April 2016, Carter held the position of product manager for agency trading connectivity. His responsibilities included managing global exchange connectivity, owning internal projects to integrate exchange adaptors, and managing the connectivity roadmap. He coordinated multiple development teams to meet exchange deadlines and was involved in major upgrades for exchanges like LIFFE, EUREX, and CME.

FFastFill[edit]

Carter's tenure at FFastFill spanned from July 2007 to September 2013, where he progressed through several roles. He started as a business analyst, providing front-line customer support and troubleshooting for traders. He then moved to the position of technical analyst, managing escalated incidents and implementing system upgrades. Finally, as a customer project manager, he managed client accounts, software environments, and European exchange trading connectivity.

Education[edit]

He earned a BSc in Economics from the University of Greenwich, graduating in 2008.
