Daniel F. Brophy
Daniel F. Brophy is a CBOT member,[1] NFA-registered floor broker[2], prinical of Tenco Inc. and owner of Red Rock Trading, LLC. He formerly served as a member of the board of directors of the Minneapolis Grain Exchange. He is chairman of the futures committee of the Commodity Markets Council. Background[edit]Brophy is a former member of the New York Stock Exchange. As a CBOT member, Brophy traded grain futures for more than 20 years[3] and traded catastrophe futures developed by Richard Sandor among other contracts.[4] He also previously served on the board of governors of the Board of Trade Clearing Corporation.[5] He was a board member in 1999 when BOTCC restructured their structure, giving larger firms more representation.[6] Brophy is a member of the board of regents of the Mercy Home for Boys & Girls.[7] Education[edit]Registration[edit]
