Dominic Stevens is the managing director and CEO of the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX). He was appointed to that role on August 1, 2016.[1] Stevens has nearly 30 years' experience in the financial markets.[2] He is also a director of ASX’s clearing and settlement licensees and their intermediate holding companies.[3]

In February 2022 Stevens announced plans to retire from ASX after nine years with the exchange and six years as CEO. [5]

Prior to Challenger, Stevens served as a senior managing director at Zurich Capital Markets Asia. He previously held several senior positions in a long career at Bankers Trust Australia.

He is a Chartered Accountant and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Education[edit]

Stevens received a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) and Finance from University of New South Wales, Sydney Australia.[7]
