Drakon Capital is a firm that provides real-time online market information for institutional clients in the equities, options, and futures markets. Drakon's services are broadcast via instant messaging (IM). Drakon provides institutional investors with market color and flow in real time. It is operated by optionMONSTER, a Chicago-based team cofounded by brothers Jon Najarian and Pete Najarian.[1] Drakon Capital is led by the CNBC commentator Guy Adami, and was announced in August of 2008.[2]

Drakon was launched in 2008 with the help of optionMONSTER. Soon after, Guy Adami was brought in when he first teamed up with the Najarian brothers on what is now known as the CNBC show Fast Money. In 2010, Drakon went live with two of their newest products offerings stockMONSTER & futuresMONSTER.

Products and Services[edit]

stockMONSTER is a professionally moderated chat room for institutional investors who look to identify and assess intra-session moves, rumors, and trends. It's for equity traders looking to identify and assess breaking news and developing trade opportunities.

futuresMONSTER provides real-time snapshots that turn to IM blasts direct from the floor of the CME Group. This allows subscribers access to a group of veteran traders and technicians with their eyes and ears directly on the futures markets. The intraday quality commentary, sought after by large Wall Street banks, offers subscribers a unique perspective on the markets, and is aimed at futures traders looking for insight on market flow and color from the floor.
